As the Club Administrator for the Welland Soccer Club, I was first introduced to Niagara Youth Need Sports last year, when I had a young player who wanted to play soccer, but couldn’t afford the registration. I reached out to NYNS and received an answer right away. I directed the family to their website and they filled out theapplication. It wasn’t long before the young player was on the field, joyfully playing the game!
Every time I reach out to NYNS, the response is always “How can we help?” Several young people have had the opportunity to play the beautiful game of soccer because of their financial generosity and kind-heartedness. The Welland Soccer Club is so grateful for the work Niagara Youth Need Sports does to make sure our young people have every opportunity!

Ending the week off with a “ BUMP ,SET ,SPIKE!” We are happy to report that NYNS has just sponsored 3 of Niagara’s Youth and assisted with their Volleyball registration fees!
It’s amazing hearing about the impact we are making in our community! Due to the generosity of our sponsors and partners we have been able to help keep 20 of Niagara’s Youth involved in sports so far in 2024!

Tigers Athletics in Niagara
The NYNS family is proud to sponsor two local athletes from Tigers Athletics in Niagara who are competing in an international cheerleading event taking place next month in Orlando. New Sledge Purchased for Future Star!
NYNS has just sponsored a 14 year old boy who is very involved in the parasport community. This young man is the captain of the Brock Penguins wheelchair basketball team, is on the sitting volleyball team and over the last year has become very involved in sledge hockey. He has joined the parasport NSHL league as well as the Niagara Thunderblades team. He is typically on the ice 3-5 hours a week between both teams and has really excelled in sport. Before our sponsorship he was using a loaned sledge that did not fit his body size and was not fitted to him. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors we were able to purchase a new sledge that has been sized and modified to his build. It's moments like this that remind us that together we are making a difference.

Just in time for Christmas, 3 sisters now have the opportunity to participate in gymnastics. Chad Burnham
Playing organized sports outside of school has become increasing costly. For some families the opportunity is not a reality. At one point, playing lacrosse for Chad was just a dream. However, due to the generosity of one of the founders of "Niagara Youth Needs Sports," Chad not only had the opportunity to tryout, he had the opportunity to play travel lacrosse with St. Catharines Athletic "C" team! The barrier of the cost of equipment, travel costs and registration were all taken care of , providing Chad an opportunity to a part of a team!
Providing kids like Chad the opportunity to learn valuable life lessons like commitment and teamwork through sports is the mission of "NYNS." Together we can make a difference!

When this family of 6 that was hit hard by the Covid lockdowns Niagara Youth Needs Sports was there. Meet Camdyn Macmillan of Niagara Falls and hear all about his amazing season!
Cam had a successful season as the starting catcher for the Bulletproof prospects 11u team on the way to being FJSL 2022 champions. Cam led the offence with 61 hits, .496 batting avg , 20 doubles and 8 Homeruns.
